- It is best to enter company names properly. For example, a company by the name of Tennis Racquet Club should be entered as Tennis Racquet Club rather than variations such as Racquet Tennis Club, etc.

- State selection: You must select a single state in order to search this database. There is no option to search all 50 states at this time.

- You do not have to enter periods or commas. Periods and commas are stripped from a search when entered.

- Telephone numbers must be entered with numeric characters. If you are searching by a telephone number, enter the entire number including area code (dashes are acceptable, but do not leave a blank space between the digits). You can not enter a partial number.

- When searching by a DUNS Number, you must enter all 9 digits. Do not enter a partial number. DUNS numbers are usually formatted as 12-123-1234. You may enter the number with or without dashes, but DO NOT leave spaces between the numbers. NOTE: A DUNS number search will not retrieve D&B Family Tree Reports.
