Search Tips

	You may either search by company name and state or by company name, address, city, state, and zip.
	You do not have to enter "noise words" such as THE, INC, CO, LTD, COMPANY, CORP, etc.
	It is best to enter company names properly. For example, a company by the name of Tennis Racquet Club should be entered as Tennis Racquet Club rather than variations such as Racquet Tennis Club, etc.
	Your search results will contain a list of "similars". The "similars" are matches based on a statistical analysis of what you searched. For example, if you enter Brewery, you may get results like Brewery, Brewer, Brew, etc. Another example would be a search on Massachusetts General Hospital. It may bring back results like Massachusetts General Hospital, Mass General Hospital, Mass Gen Hosp, Massachusetts Gen Hospital, etc.
	The more specific your search query, the less likely you will receive "similars", but rather more exact matches.
	Dashes, Slashes and periods are ignored when searching. For example, the system treats A.B.C., A-B-C, and A/B/C the same as if you entered ABC.
	Compound words can be difficult to search. For example, if you are searching ABC Healthcare and you get no results, then you may want to try ABC Health Care.
	State selection: You must select a single state in order to search this database. There is no option to search all 50 states at this time.
	Only 40 characters will be searched It is better to omit the last word than truncate. For example, if you are searching Life Care System of the United States of America, it would be best to just enter Life Care System of the United States.
	A maximum number of 27 matches will be returned for each search query. Scroll through the results to find the individual or business you are investigating.
