Search Tips

	You may enter the name you are searching in any order. For example, Tennis Racquet Club can be entered as Tennis Racquet Club or Tennis Club Racquetor or Racquet Tennis Club.
	Similar names (including nicknames & spelling variations) will be searched automatically for common names. For example, Corp is a similar name. Therefore, a search of Tennis Racquet Corp will find matches on Tennis Racquet Corp, Tennis Racquet Corporate, Tennis Racquet Corporation.
	Do not enter partial characters. For example, if you enter BRO, it will not find Brown, Brothers, Broward, etc. There is NO expansion on the terms.
	When searching hyphenated names, either enter the hyphen in the appropriate place or enter the two names without a space.
	When searching by SIC CODE, you must enter the entire 4-digit number. Do not enter a partial number.
	You may enter a key word in the SIC CODE DESCRIPTION field to find selective types of businesses. Do not enter a partial word. (ex: RESTAURANTS)
	You may search by suffix or titles. (i.e. JR, SR, III, MD, etc.) For example, Charles Thomas MD will only find matches with all three terms, Charles Thomas MD, in your results.
	You do not have to enter periods or commas. Periods and commas are stripped from a search when entered.
	You may enter information in any of the fields in any combination. Enter information in one or more fields provided.
	Telephone numbers must be entered with numeric characters. If you are searching by a telephone number, enter the entire number including area code (dashes are acceptable, but do not leave a blank space between the digits). You can not enter a partial number.
	State selection: Choose the "All-States" option to search all available jurisdictions, if you do not know which state to select. Check the Coverage Area section to determine the jurisdictions included in the database. Your results will be sorted alphabetically by state if you chose to search "All-States". At this time, there is no additional sort order. Scroll through the results to find the business you are investigating.
	A total of 25 matches will be shown on a page. To view matches beyond 25, use the "Next" and "Previous" links on each page.
