- You may enter the name you are searching in any order. For example, a name like Will Slater, can be entered as Will Slater or Slater Will

- You may enter information in any of the fields in any combination. Enter information in one or more fields provided.

- There is no expansion on the name. Your name is searched with only the criteria that you enter in the template. For example, a search on Will Slater will only retrieve matches for Will Slater or Slater Will. It will not find matches like Willis Slater, William Slater, or Wilma Slater. Try different variations of the name by using modify search link at the top of the page if you did not locate the individual on your first attempt.

- You do not have to enter a last name and first name. If you chose, you can enter a last name only; but be aware of the large amount of search results that may be returned. You may also enter the first name only.

- Middle initials may be included in the name. If you have a middle initial, it can be entered with the name in any order. For example, Will J Slater can be entered as Will J Slater or Slater Will J or J Will Slater.

- When searching a hyphenated name, either enter the hyphen in the appropriate place or enter the two names without a space.

- You can search by suffix or titles. (i.e. JR, SR, III, etc.) For example, Will Slater III could be searched and you will only find matches with Will Slater III in your results.

- Some license numbers contain alpha and numeric characters. If you are searching by a license number, enter the number as it appears on the official documents (with hyphens or spaces between the characters if necessary). Try different variations of the license number by using modify search link at the top of the page if you are having trouble finding a match on your first attempt.

- Choose the "All States" option to search 47 states including DC, if you do not know which state to select. (HI, IN, and WA are not covered)

- Your results will be sorted alphabetically by state if you chose to search "All-States". At this time, there is no additional sort order. Scroll through the results to find the individual you are trying to locate. Try different variations of the name by using modify search link at the top of the page if you are having difficulty in finding the individual on your first attempt.
