	The Lawsuits database provides filing information on civil suits from various courts, including circuit, district, small claims, chancery, and municipal courts throughout various jurisdictions in the United States. Not all jurisdictions across the U.S. are included in this database, nor are all courts included in each of the available jurisdictions. Check the section entitled Coverage to determine which jurisdictions are included in the Lawsuits database.
	Use the Lawsuits database to: Check prior litigation Investigate patterns of irregularities or adverse behavior Perform preliminary background check Determine status of an existing lawsuit to see if it is still active or disposed Uncover chronic plaintiffs
	The following information is available by purchasing a Lawsuits detail record: Defendant Name & Address Plaintiff Name Case number Filing date Filing Type Court Location
	In some jurisdictions, additional detail information is available, such as amount, attorney information, and filing description.
	What is NOT included in this database? Criminal suits Lawsuit filings in every jurisdiction in the U.S. Full text lawsuit filing (such as the complaint, answer, deposition, docket sheet, or the judgment).
